Season 1 Murder House

Murder House is my favorite season to boot. Murder house had a very clear and simple story line, basically there is a house that is cursed and everyone who lives in it experiences trauma and those who die in the house are stuck there forever as angry ghosts. It was great ! Especially in the beginning when in every episode it would jump to different years and tell a story of a different person that lived in the house, it added a lot of dimension to the season. Jessica Lang was of course brilliant always taking control of the scene and dominating! But obviously the most moving story line for me in Murder house was the relationship between Violet and Tate, talk about a tragic love story. There was something very beautiful about how morbid it was. Also loved the old maid that men thought was a spicy young redhead!

Season 2 Asylum

This season did not grab me at all at first but did redeem itself in the end.. Well I take that back the first episode was very moving what with the whole alien abduction scene and Jenna Dewan Tatum getting fucked! But the second they got to the asylum it lost me. It then became a bit slow moving and left me very confused about what the first scene was with Jenna Dewan Tatum and Adam Levine and then started to get even more confusing when Dylan McDermott came into the picture and it jumped several years into the future. So through the middle of the season I found myself doing other things like my nails and hair and not really paying attention. I actually never finished the entire season the first time I watched, I only made it to about episode 5 which I know now was a mistake because the ending of season 2 completely made up for everything. Very well written I feel it tied everything together and all the loose ends were cleaned up which for TV shows I find to be very rare. It was very moving as well. All of that boring character development really payed off!

Season 3 Coven

Not a big fan of this season I enjoyed the whole date raping a movie star who then goes postal and takes out a whole bus of boys but everything after that gets dull. Did not enjoy Evan Peters as a back from the dead boy toy it was a complete waste of his talent having little to no lines. I was also not a fan of Taissa Farmiga pretty much playing the same character she did in Murder house, give the hats a break girl. The Stevie Nicks cameo was tits! Jessica Lange as always was the most redeeming quality of this season. Her bitch attitude that would do anything to benefit herself was strong. She had an obsession with Vanity and youth that any women could relate to. Along with Jessica Lange's storyline I was a big fan that they used real NOLA history and created the Axeman character, American Horror Story style, as Jessica's loves interest.

Season 4 Freak Show

This season was just freaking awesome, especially if your completely twisted and love clowns! There were so many dark and creepy characters and back stories its hard to mention them all. Everything from Elsa's snuff video to Jimmies side job with the lonely housewives. One of the best things about Freak Show was the show, the first time I watched Elsa sing Life on Mars I remember re-winding and watching it maybe four times. Actually most of the musical moments in this season were brilliant. Ill tell you what their aint no party like a freak show party!

Season 5 Hotel

 Wow very surprised by this season of course like most people I was upset that Jessica Lang would not be joining the cast but cheers to Lady Gaga! I definitely appreciate her more as an actor than a musician. It was the perfect roll for her Queen bee of the creepy ass hotel. Known for lavish outfits and a cold demeanor. It was the perfect balance between loving a character and at the same time hating her. One thing I loved about this season was the little Vampire children infecting all the other kids on Halloween and then going home to murder their parents, it was adorable. Another STAND OUT performance was by Sarah Paulson playing the character of the resident hotel crack head "hypodermic" Sally, this woman never fails to amaze me and the more I watched I realized shes the star of American Horror Story

Season 6 My Roanoke Nightmare

 I love that this season defied the laws of normal television seasons. When you first start watching and see that its a reality TV show and you are playing the part of the fan watching the show, then everything changes. Both the real character and the actors that played in the reenactment join to do a reunion show in the house where everything happened. That's when everything got real. Basically when the actors were in the house filming they were not actually there during the blood moon, which is when the sinister events happen. So when they join the actual people they were portraying in the house they think its all fake like when they shot the show. Half the time they walked right into danger thinking it was and actor playing a psycho killer, it was great. It was one of those classic horror plots where when you put normal people in danger of dying the things they will do to survive. It seemed everyone in this season had ulterior motives and spoiler alert, it didn't work out for any of them! 

Season 7 Cult

What to say about this season well to start I did admire the way they somehow made it anti Trump and pro Trump at the same time. This was another one of those seasons where just a bunch of crazy stuff happens in the first couple of episodes and you have no idea what is going on. Basically Trump wins the election and the world goes crazy, or at least you think so. In the end it turns out to all the be the workings of one psychopath, a young man addicted to speed named Kai. Kai starts to believe he is a higher power and gains followers to do unspeakable acts for him to cause anarchy and fear. His plans are so elaborate to even make people think they are going crazy by witnessing trucks releasing toxins and hundreds of dead birds. Once again I feel this season was saved by Sarah Paulson who is actually quite annoying the first couple of episodes but who completely does a 180 and is the last one standing, getting everything that Kai wanted and putting him behind bars. However most uneventful ending so far in the series.
